We think sometimes it takes space, too.

At Coal Creek Farm, we’ve found, commissioned, and installed some art that needed a vast landscape for context. Some artists have ideas so big they need space to express them. We’ve provided that and, in the process, added a different kind of beauty to the bountiful nature that surrounds us. We’ve selected a few pieces to share with you, hoping you’ll find some compelling, some thought-provoking, and some amusing.

At Coal Creek Farm we respect science and have a passion for beautiful things. Oscar Wilde once said, “No better way is there to learn about nature than to understand art.” We think that we may not always understand the art, as we don’t always understand nature, but we think both are worthy goals.
