Non-Timber Forest Products

Coal Creek Farm has an abundance of non-timber forest products. These include edible, medicinal, and aesthetic vegetation. There are amazing orchids, trilliums, and other flowering plants on the farm. Many of these could bring in cash rewards, but harvesting these limited resources would surely deplete the natural beauty of the farm.

The property is blessed with goldenseal, shitakes, berries, grapes, pawpaw fruit, persimmon, and other assets.
